Let me start by saying that my gut is a mess. I have lupus and I’ve also had several abdominal surgeries. I’ve lost a foot of intestines and don’t have a gallbladder. I also had a massive hernia repair a couple years ago. All of that combined has lead me to have horrible gut health. If I ate anything, I had to make sure I wasn’t far from a bathroom for the next 30-45 minutes.I’ve tried several probiotics over the last few years and none have done much other than make matters worse. But then I tried Flourish. And WOW. Seriously.First of all, if you get this, spend the extra few bucks for the glass bottle. This is under pressure because of fermentation, so glass will be more stable. Also REFRIGERATE IT! This has like a billion good bacteria cultures in it, so it’s alive. Don’t shake it, just rock it gently. And open it slowly because it’s under pressure. The taste is a little weird at first, but in no way bad. It’s like a cross between citrus and vinegar. Similar to kombucha, but. It as intense (and I don’t like kombucha). I put a tablespoon in my morning smoothies before blending and I can’t taste it. But again, it’s not bad if you like ACV.Now for the results!I’ve been using this for a month (still on the first bottle). I wanted to wait to give an honest review after using it for awhile. The first two days, nothing. Days 3-5, I had a little stomach ache followed by diarrhea. I almost quit, but I read about probiotics and knew this was common as your gut chemistry changes. Sort of like a cleansing. I knew it was either working or I was having a bad reaction. I persevered. By day 8, I realized I was having normal BMs which I haven’t had for years! Sorry to be graphic, but for many years, I’ve teetered between constipation and diarrheaBut on Day 8 to now, I’ve been regular! I don’t have to wait after eating to see what happens now. This is crazy to me!If you have gut issues, try this. Maybe talk to your doctor first, but this stuff is clean, pure and really does what it says it does. It lasts a long time too, so the price isn’t bad.I will be buying this forever.
This stuff works really well. To me it's like a super potent concentrate kombucha and it acts as such. Be careful when receiving the bottle, maybe let it sit for an hour before trying to open and open slowly. I opened right after I received it and it was VERY carbonated and wanted to spray all over everything! Luckily I opened slow enough so it didn't make too much of a mess, but wow, is it ever super super active. I recommend this to anyone looking to try something different with their probiotic, it's likely unlike anything you've ever tried before. It goes to work immediately.
*I am not a physician. This is not medical advice. See your physician before starting any supplement.*I am so grateful to have found this probiotic! My gut health was wrecked from a long round of antibiotics that did not clear up a terrible infection I have had on and off for months. My body felt like it was shutting down and my immune system seemed incapable of catching up. I have been praying, eating as well as I can, and taking every supplement under the sun to help. I finally felt well enough to function today. I have been taking this every night now for only a week, along with a ton of colliadal silver, spirulina, a parasite detox, and zeolite. My body is finally fighting off and fixing what antibiotics could not. I keep this in the fridge as the bottle recommends. It tastes like a standard fermented drink, that uses molasses as the sugar. Fermented beverages need a sugar to eat so they can work. I used to make my own ferments but after accidentally exploding one of my ginger bugs that was fermenting I have taken some time off lol. It arrived packaged very nicely. This is a top notch probiotic supplement and I am more than pleased with the quality.
I want to start by saying that I chose this probiotic because of the clean formulation and the fact that it’s vegan, allergen-free, and made in the USA. From a quality and ingredient standpoint, it checks a lot of boxes. That said, there is a very important logistical issue that I think needs to be clearly stated for future buyers: this product requires refrigeration upon arrival. Unfortunately, this was not clearly disclosed in the product listing or product information. I travel frequently for business and happened to be out of town when mine was delivered, so it sat unrefrigerated longer than I would have been comfortable with had I known in advance. This isn’t a minor detail—it affects how and when you should order the product. If you’re someone who travels or isn’t home consistently, you’ll want to plan accordingly or risk compromising the product. I strongly feel this information should be clearly and prominently disclosed before purchase so customers can make an informed decision.Overall, the concept and formulation are solid, but the lack of transparency around storage requirements is a significant drawback and something buyers should be aware of.
Definitely an active probiotic! Having the instructions right on the box was very helpful. I put it in the fridge and this morning added the recommended amount, 1 tablespoon, into my smoothie. Now about five hours later, my insides are rolling… Because this is a live and active fresh probiotic, maybe start with a smaller dose so you can see how your body reacts to it since I am very impressed with the activity that this probiotic has started! It has more of a taste than other probiotics; they say that it is fermented, and it definitely is. It is not unpleasant; I would liken it to a bit of a sweet vinegar. Mixed into my smoothie I could not taste it. Overall, a quality probiotic and a great addition to my gut health!
